Weather forecast is a carbon copy of last report, temperatures in the high 80's low 90's today the weekend and throughout next week. Clear skies, gentle breezes and cooling in the evenings. Pardee Lake water level is presently at 90% capacity with ALL launch ramp facilities and services available.

Reports indicated it's been slow for bank fishermen in the Recreation Area most of last week. No bank fishermen visible this morning anywhere along the bank except for a few determined souls over on Stoney Point Landing. According to a source on the gate the Woodpile continues to produce some nice trout during the week. No real quick limits but still the best producing location lately. Power Bait, Chartreuse with sparkles, eggs with garlic, orange mouse tails along with night crawlers on a sliding sinker or a half full water bubble all continue to be effective combos thus far for Trout.

Mixed limits of Trout and Kokanee are the rule for Trollers. Most boats are working the deeper center sections of the Lake from the Narrows to the South End intake area and from the face of the Dam to the Rock Wall and further upstream. Kokanee have gone a bit deeper since last report to the 60-70 foot level. Trout have become elusive and harder to locate. Hoochies, (green and pink) along with the standard beaded spinners, Uncle Larry's pinkies and white/pink hoochies all behind a medium dodger are a good bet. Apex and Sling Blades are getting the nod as well for Kokes. Those Trout caught lately have been partial to needle fish, primarily reds and fire tiger patterns.

This group of local residents from Stockton had a great time here over the Father's day weekend and got some nice skillet size cats! Didn't get the 411 on names or info but it's still a great picture. Glad you all had a great time!!!

Lake Level is currently at 90% of capacity and holding. Water temperature is currently 65 degrees at 20 feet and 67 at the surface; clarity is good to 15 feet plus.

Lake Pardee Recreation has planted a total of 20,000 pounds of fish to date.

High 80's low 90's Today and throughout next week. Clear skies, gentle breezes and cooling in the evenings. Water level has risen approximately 2 feet in the Recreation Area recently, this coupled with the plant yesterday should improve bank fishing significantly. EBMUD has also moved their boathouse back into place near the Launch Ramp which offers some shelter for other fish. Deeper water in the area should also encourage the fish to remain in the immediate area before heading out to...... Read More

Temperatures forecast to reach the century mark this weekend then cooling towards the middle of the week. Look for some high clouds, gentle breezes and a little cooler in the evenings and overnight. Only one pair of anglers working the Recreation Area this morning behind the Marina in front of the Maintenance Bldg. They have caught a couple of Rainbows with black surface flies (woolly buggers). The Marina reports bank fishing has been quiet around the Recreation Area since...... Read More
