Last Plant: On March 14, 2013 750 lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen were planted.
Water Temperature: 63 Degrees at the Dock

Water Clarity: The lake has cleared up a lot over th4 past week.

This week has proven to be a carbon copy of last week. The weather change slowed down the bite for most of last week. But fishing has picked up this week. Catfish are on the prowl looking for anything stinky. The best baits so far have been anchovies or chicken liver.

The trout are still biting. They are hitting PowerBait, Worms or Kickin Sticks. The Crappie are hitting in the late afternoon on Jigs or Panther Martins. Stripers are hitting top water lures, Lunker Plunkers or Spooks. Smallmouth are hitting shad like lures and Rat-L-Traps. Black and Largemouth Bass like top water lures, shad like lures or lures that look like trout.

On 4/24/2013 Mt. Lassen planted 750 lbs. of Trout.
