The Bass bite is really starting to take off now. Stripers are on the bite up by the Dam and so are the Largemouths & Smallmouths. But Trout are still the ,most active. There are almost perfect conditions for trout right now. Stripers are hitting Anchovies and Trout Swimbait. Smallmouth, Largemouth & Black Bass are hitting Rat-L-Traps and Anchovies. Trout are hitting PowerBait, Mice Tails and Nightcrawlers. The Catfish action has been slow this week. The last fish plant was on 4/3/2013 with 500 lbs. planted from Mt. Lassen.
