Marina Hours: 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
Park Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Last Plant: On March 14, 2013 750 lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen were planted.
Water Temperature: 60 Degrees at the Dock

Water Clarity: Water clarity is getting a lot better. At Heron Bay you can see 15 ti 20 ft. down. In the south areas you can see about 4 ft. down.

Fishing has picked up for all species. Shad are reproducing at a rapid rate. Therefore all the fish are feeding off the shad. We opened an 8 lb. Catfish's stomach and found at least 50 shad and it still hit the anchovie.

Black Bass can be tricked into hitting Rat-L-Traps. Along with Striped Bass who are hitting top water lures such as Lunker Plunkers and Spooks.

Catfish are active on Anchovies, Mackerel and Shad. Lots of Catfish are starting to come in now after a slow Catfish winter. Trout are still hitting on the surface. One was caught on a Rainbow Trout kickin stickand another was caught on a silver Rat-L-Trap.

There is a fishing derby this weekend and the lake received a double stocking with some larger Trout. On April 10th Mt Lassen planted 1,250 lbs. and DFG planted 1,000 lbs. on the same day.
