The fishing at Lake Del Valle has improved this week. The warmer weather has helped a lot but the water clarity is still stained. The water level is up where it needs to be. But there is still debris all over the lake.

They have been nailing Trout on the west side of the dam and in the narrows and coves. The Catfish bite seems to be improving but trolling for trout is very tough right now.

The trout that are biting are hitting Trout Traps, PowerBait, egg/worm combos, Panther Martins, Mouse tails amd Rat-L-Traps. Catfish are hitting anything that stinks like anchovies and mackerel.
