The fishing at Del Valle Lake really picked up this week. The lake temperature went up 4 degrees and the lake has settled. Trolling and cast and retrieve seems to be the ticket for Trout. They are hitting Fire Tiger J5 Rapalas, buck-tail Panther Martins and orange and silver Kastmasters. Some anglers have also caught limits of trout at the dam using worm/egg combos, PowerBait or live worms. One angler caught his limit in one hour by the dam.

The Catfish bite has not been good. But we did hear of a couple of Striper bites using rainbow trout swimbaits, for the Stripers or anchovies or chicken liver for the Kitties.
