FISHING REPORT
The hotter weather has slowed the trout fishing and forced the trout a lot deeper. Anglers are still catching trout at about 45 feet or so deep with power baits in chartreuse, rainbow and garlic being the most popular.

We had Gene Mollenhauer of Ione catch a nice 5.75 lb trout over by the dam using a rapala lure. We have had reports of quite a bit of Kokanee being caught, mostly by accident with fish being reported at 17" while fishing for trout.

Catfish are picking up with any good stinky bait working from cheese to garlic baits. Drake Velador of Holister caught a nice 3lb catfish over by houseboat cove near North shore using stink bait.
