Free Saturday night movies at the South shore Amphitheatre (across from the Gold Run campground) start Memorial Day weekend and run through Labor Day weekend. Movies will start at sundown and are free for our guests.

Even with the warmer temperatures, we have still had a few stories to brag about. Trout are definitely going deeper, recent reports state that they are being caught at about 40' feet deep with the bait of choice still being power baits in chartreuse, rainbow and garlic. Night crawlers are still a favorite with anglers.

We had Gene Mollenhauer and Bob Hendricks of Ione catch a nice stringer with their largest fish weighing in at 5.75 lbs at the North shore near the dam/causeway while fishing with rapala lures.

Bass fishermen have been seen at the lake but no one is talking.
