The Trout bite at Lake Camanche hasn't slowed yet, Catfish, Bass & Crappie bites are all good

Inflow: The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently at 1280 c.f.s.
Outflow: The spill is at 0 c.f.s. The outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 339 c.f.s.
Lake Capacity: The lake is 65% full.
Weekly Weather
North Shore & South Shore:
Summer is almost officially here! Sunny all week with highs in the mid 80's to mid 90's and lows in the mid to high 50's.
Fish Plants This Week:
On Wed the 9th we had 600 lbs delivered to the South shore pond and 1200 lbs delivered to the South shore ramp. The North shore ramp was not included in this delivery.
Lake News;
Rental Kayaks are in! Both shores will have kayaks available for rent this summer. Check with the marina for rates & availability.
Rabbit Creek and Coyote Flat campgrounds are scheduled to open up May 18th.
Free Saturday night movies at the South shore Amphitheatre (across from the Gold Run campground) start Memorial Day weekend and run through Labor Day weekend. Movies will start at sundown and are free for our guests.
Trout:
The warmer weather hasn't stopped the bites yet and the fish plants will continue as long as the surface temp of the water stays below 69'F.
Randy Torres of Manteca caught a 4.46 lb trout out of the pond using chartreuse power bait. Wayne Carroll of Sacramento also caught a 5 lb trout out of the pond while using power bait. Ron Thompson of Valley Springs caught a 7.25 lb trout out by the dam using cheese power bait. Robert Gonzalez from Stockton caught a 5.25 lb trout out by the Riverview campground while using power bait. Curt Bosworth of Santa Rosa caught a 6.30 lb trout while fishing from Hat Island using a needlefish lure. Mark Schon of Stockton caught a nice 5.08 lb trout near Hat Island using speedy shiners. Loyde Johnson of Santa Rosa caught a 4.67 lb trout by Big Hat Island/Dam using a worm. Dean Wade of Camanche caught a 6.10lb trout by Dam Dike 3 using worms. Virginia Bickham of Ione caught a 5.02lb trout off the North shore while using power bait. Don Rudolph of Burson caught a 8.25lb trout off the North shore bank while using rainbow power bait.
Catfish:
Dave Gray of Sacramento caught a 6.22 lb catfish near the South shore marina while using power bait. Steve Sowers of Grass Valley caught a 7.32 lb catfish below the bridge using power bait. Pablo Fernandez from Pittsburg caught a 5.79 lb catfish by the South marina using worms.
Bass:
Ken Baker of Elk Grove caught a 7.44 lb Large Mouth Bass using plastics.
Crappie:
Sheena Philipps of Ward, Arkansas caught a 1.5lbs crappie near the bridge while using a worm.
