Lake Conditions: The lake is 57% full & the water temperature is 62'F degrees.
Weather: North shore - 30% chance of showers Wed-Thurs then sunny the rest of the week with highs in the high 60's to low 80's and lows in the mid to high 50's.
South Shore - 20% chance of showers Wed-Thurs then sunny the rest of the week with highs in the high 60's to low 80's and lows in the mid to high 50's.

Fish Plants This Week: On Tues the 17th we had 600 lbs delivered to the North shore ramp, 600 lbs to the South shore ramp & 600 lbs to the South shore pond.

Lake News; The Oaks campground at South shore officially opened for the summer season as of the 20th!

Whopper mugs are in! Whopper mugs are available to anglers bringing in a fish weighing 5lbs or more to either marina store for a pic & weigh in. So next time you catch that "big one" make sure you stop by and get it weighed first!

Trout/Bass/Catfish Report: Another good week of fishing was had by all! On 04/15/12 we had Cliff Hoover from Lodi catch a nice 12.55lb trout out by Hat Island using a rapala lure.
On 04/17/12 we had regular Mel Lai catch 3 good sized trout weighing in at 9lbs, 8.5lbs, & 6lbs, his location and bait used was not reported.
On 04/18/12 we also had Jerry Van Velzen from Lincoln catch a 31 inch, 10.62 lbs trout by the dam about 15-20 feet down using a rapala lure.
On 04/19/12 we had Richard Bianchi from Stockton caught an 11.30 lb trout out of the South shore trout pond while using a fly.
On 04/22/12 we had Curt Bosworth of Santa Rosa catch a 6.30 lb trout while trolling by Hat Island using a Needlefish lure.
On 04/22/12 we had Arthur & Vladilav Shichkouskiy of Sacramento catch a 3.90 lbs BASS while fishing over by the causeway and Day use areas at North shore while using a worm.
On 04/22/12 regular Steve Bickham of Ione caught another good sized trout weighing in at 6.56 lbs while fishing the causeway cove area at North shore using yellow powerbait.
