Outflow: The outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 245 c.f.s.
Lake Level: The lake is 56% full
Water Temperature: 56'F degrees.
Weather: Both the North and South shores are partly cloudy and sunny all week with highs in the low to mid 70's and lows in the low to mid 50's.
Fish Plants This Week: On Monday, April 9th, Mt. Lassen Trout delivered 600 lbs to the South shore ramp & 1200 lbs to the North shore ramp. There was no delivery to the Trout pond this week.

Lake News: Thank You to Yolo County Law Enforcement for having their annual trout derby at North shore on the 14th. The day turned out nice after all with lots of fish at the weigh in. Congratulations to the winners!

Whopper mugs are in! Whopper mugs are available to anglers bringing in a fish weighing 5lbs or more to either marina store for a pic & weigh in. So next time you catch that "big one" make sure you stop by and get it weighed first!

Trout/Bass/Catfish Report: Another good week for fishing! On 04/05/12 we had 8yr old Owen Brown of Sacramento catch a 4.38lb trout off the North shore Day Use point while using power eggs. On 04/07/12 we had 11 yr old Michael Williams & friend catch a 3.81lb Large Mouth bass! They were fishing in Houseboat Cove while using a rubber lure. Not too bad for a first fish! On 04/07/12 we had regulars Sean & Jesse of Ione catch some good trout over by the North Shore dam. Their 2 largest fish weighed 4.71lbs & 6.90lbs & they were using a F-11 Rapala. On 04/07/12 we had Dan Valdez of Burson catch a 5.58lb Bass from the South shore day use area while using worms. On 04/07/12 we had Christopher Walloupe of Ione catch some catfish at the bridge at the Narrows with his largest weighing in at 11.31lbs while using frozen mackerel. On 04/09/12 we had George Nakawatase of Galt catch a nice 7.31lb trout from the North shore day use area while using power bait. On 04/10/12 we had regulars Sean & Jesse from Ione again catch a couple of good trout weighing in at 5.70lbs & 3.98lbs while fishing from the North shore day use area using power worms. On 04/10/12 we had George Nakawatase of Galt return to catch another whopper trout this time weighing in at 9.57lbs! He was fishing from the North shore day use area again using power bait. On 03/29/12 6 1/2 yr old Sammi Stevenson of Valley Springs caught a 8.5 lb trout out by the dam using grubs. On 04/06/12 we had Dan Valdez of Burson catch a 5.92 lb trout out by the South shore day use area using a worm. On 04/06/12 Caden Caster & Domuno Alexander of Antioch caught 2 trout weighing 8.17lbs and 5.55lbs while fishing near Hat Island using rapala lures. On 04/07/12 Mike Deluso of Sacramento caught a 6.22lbs trout out of the South shore trout pond using a Kastmaster. On 04/07/12 Dave Blewett of Burson caught 2 trout weighing 5.50lbs and 8.01lbs out by Chevron point using worms. On 04/08/12 Reid & Carson McCaffrey of Napa caught a 6.13lbs catfish using chicken liver at the South shore trout pond. On 04/09/12 Jason Galbriath of Napa caught a 5.62lbs trout over by the South shore day use area using a spoon kripple lure. On 04/09/12 Val Brummer of Valley Springs caught a 7.37lbs trout while fishing near Hat Island.
