Outflow: The outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 278 c.f.s.
Lake Capacity: The lake is 58% full
Water Temperature: The water temperature is 62'F degrees.
Weather: Not a drop of rain in sight! Sunny all week with highs in the mid 70's to low 80's and lows on the mid to high 50's.
Fish Plants This Week: On Mon the 23rd we had 600 lbs delivered to the North shore ramp, 1200 lbs to the South shore ramp & 600 lbs to the South shore pond.
Lake News: The Primitive campground at North shore has been approved to allow more sites! If it showed sold out before, it's worth a 2nd look. Call us or check our website for current availability.
Don't forget, May 1st starts summer rates. Let the fun begin!
Whopper mugs are in! Whopper mugs are awarded to anglers bringing in a fish weighing 5lbs or more to either marina store for a pic & weigh in. So next time you catch that "big one" make sure you stop by and get it weighed first!
Trout Report: The storms last week have kept a lot of anglers at bay but that's good news for our lake level (it's starting to rise!) and fishing! Anglers have been hanging out at the fish cleaning stations on both shores but hardly anyone stopped by to claim a whopper mug. At North shore, Fred Burrows of San Leandro caught a 5.45lb trout while trolling by the dam while using an excel lure.
At South shore we did have a handful of kids stop by the marina store today stating that they were doing catch and releases with about 13+ trout at the trout pond while using chartreuse power bait.
