Our last Trout plant was 1,000 lbs. on June 14th from Mt. Lassen and we are expecting another 1,000 lbs. On Monday June 20th.

Trout fishermen are pulling in limits with some very nice sized catches! I have also seen a large number of Striped Bass, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass brough in this week. The water temperature is 68 degrees.

Effective Bait/Lures:
PowerBait in White, Chartreuse, Pink Shad, Fluorescent Orange, Cheese or Yellow/Orange used with or without PowerBait Trout Attractant or Trout Dip in Garlic or Corn. Berkley Gulp 2.5" Trout Worms in White, Chartreuse, Bubble Gum or Fluorescent Orange are popular as well. Kastmasters and Rapalas seem to dominate in lures this week. Nightcrawlers and Wax Worms along with Anchovies and Shad are favorites also.
