Anglers have been pulling in Trout, Small and Largemouth Bass and Stripers this week. PowerBait in White, Chartruese, spring Green and Rainbow seem to be favored. A popular combo at the moment is PowerBait eggs in White or Rainbow along with PowerBait worms in White, Chartreuse, Florescent Orange or Berkley Gulp Floating worms in Chartreuse, Florescent Orange or Bubble Gum. Rapalas and Kastmasters along with Nightcrawlers, Wax Worms, Meal Worms, Anchovies, Sardines and Ghost Shrimp also seem to be favorites.

The weather has kept the Trout fishing up at Lake Del Valle
Del Valle LakeOn the 1st of June we planted 500 lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen. With our ever changing California weather of rain one day and sunshine the next Trout fishermen have still been pulling in their limits. Del Valle LakeThe Marina hours are 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM The Park hours are 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM On May 23rd we planted 750 lbs. from Mt. Lassen, and 2,200 from Fish & Game. Anglers have been pulling in their limits, daily. We have seen quite a few Bass in the past week. Anglers have been using White PowerBait and Nightcrawlers , that seems to be the favorite this week.
