On the 1st of June we planted 500 lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen. With our ever changing California weather of rain one day and sunshine the next Trout fishermen have still been pulling in their limits.

I have seen a number of Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass brought in also. Out fishermen have been using light and bright color PowerBait in White, Chartreuse, Spring Green, Rainbow, Florescent Orange and Yellow. A popular combo at the moment is PowerBait eggs in White or Rainbow along with PowerBait worms or White or Berkley Gulp, Floating Worms in Chartreuse. Rapalas and Kastmasters along with Nightcrawlers are very popular. I have also seen a surge in Striped Bass using anchovies.
