Bass and Trout action is working at Del Valle Lake

Our last plant was June 14th, 1,000 lbs. of Trout were delivered from Mt. Lassen. Trout fishermen have been pulling in their limits. With the beautiful weather Striped Bass, Large and Smallmouth Bass fishing has been amazing also. The water temperature is 72 degrees topside.

Our anglers have been using a variety of bait PowerBait Eggs in White, Pink and Green along with Berkley Gulp Floating Worms in Florescent Pink and Green. PowerBait in White, Rainbow with Glitter, Orange Twist with Glitter, Lemon Twist and PowerBait Corn have all been popular. Anchovies, Sardines and Nightcrawlers along with Wax Worms are favorites also.

Our last Trout plant was 1,000 lbs. on June 14th from Mt. Lassen and we are expecting another 1,000 lbs. On Monday June 20th. Trout fishermen are pulling in limits with some very nice sized catches! I have also seen a large number of Striped Bass, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass brough in this week. The water temperature is 68 degrees. Anglers have been pulling in Trout, Small and Largemouth Bass and Stripers this week. PowerBait in White, Chartruese, spring Green and Rainbow seem to be favored. A popular combo at the moment is PowerBait eggs in White or Rainbow along with PowerBait worms in White, Chartreuse, Florescent Orange or Berkley Gulp Floating worms in Chartreuse, Florescent Orange or Bubble Gum.
