Success Lake rose to 52 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been great. Anglers reported excellent numbers of largemouth along rocky banks and in the trees. The best lures were wacky rigged Senkos and top spins with a Keitech trailer. Green pumpkin, cinnamon, and baby bass got bites. The crappie bite improved last week with small live minnows and small swimbaits getting grabs. Catfish were reliable on chicken liver and dip bait.
