The lake remained near 46 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been solid. Largemouth were the best bet with anglers reporting a steady improvement in the bite. Submerged offshore humps, points, and the willow trees held plenty of fish. Finesse baits in a variety of colors worked to fool them. Mid-driving crankbaits and underspins got some grabs as well. Catfish anglers landed fish while using SSS dip bait and garlic nightcrawlers. The crappie bite kicked off near the marina with reports of good fishing on minijigs and small swimbaits.
