The water level fell to 78 percent of its storage capacity, and bass fishing has been good for numbers of smaller grade largemouth. Drop shot, shaky heads, and Texas rigs all scored bites with brown, green, and purple doing the best for anglers. Reaction baits were slow with only a few reports of topwater action. Crappie took minijigs and small live minnows for anglers working their baits over submerged structure in 10 to 15 feet of water. Catfish ate dip baits and cut anchovies.
