Success lake held near 82 percent of its storage capacity, and bass anglers reported 10 to 20 fish days. Most of the fish were on the smaller side, but the good numbers made for exciting fishing. Bass held in 5 to 15 feet of water with spider jigs, drop shot, and Senko style baits all getting bit. Crappie anglers targeted submerged structure with minijigs and small swimbaits, and catfish fell for Tripple S dip bait, chicken liver, and cut mackerel.
