Kaweah held near 10 percent of capacity, and fishing was fair last week. Largemouth and spotted bass held out in 20 to 50 feet of water on main lake points and submerged rock piles. Drop shot, jigs, and Ned rigs worked with a slow to dead stick approach. Patient anglers also worked weightless Senko style baits for a few bites. Catfish took cut sardines, chicken liver, and dip bait near the marina, and crappie ate small live minnows in 20 to 40 feet of water.
