Success Lake held at 15 percent of capacity with anglers reporting winter like fishing conditions. Largemouth anglers focused their efforts in deeper water with finesse baits, jigs, deep diving crankbaits and vertical spoons. Drop shot four inch Robos in Green Pumpkin, Ox Blood, and Tequila Sunrise worked to put a few fish in the boat. Krocodiles, and blade baits worked on the deeper fish. Crappie anglers dropped minijigs and small live minnows on submerged structure spots in deep water, and catfish took fresh shrimp, chicken liver, and dip bait.
