The lake rose to 10 percent of capacity, and fishing has been decent. Bass anglers used drop shot, C-rigs, and Ned rigs in 15 to 30 feet of water for spotted bass. Vertical spoons and jigs worked for deeper bass holding on points and ledges. Catfish anglers used cut baits, chicken liver, and dip bait for fair number of whisker fish, and crappie anglers fished deep with small live minnows and ice jigs.
