The lake fell to 61 percent of capacity, and water temperatures dropped below 70 degrees. Anglers reported good spotted bass fishing in 10 to 30 feet of water with drop shot, shaky heads, and craw imitations all fooling fish. Small swimbaits, deep diving jerkbaits, and topwater lures also worked for bites. White bass fell for topwater and trolled spoons, and crappie took small live minnows and minijigs over submerged brush. Catfish anglers used cut mackerel, chicken liver, and dip bait for decent results.
