Isabella fell to 58 percent of capacity this week. The crappie bite improved this week with reports of nice stringers of fish coming out. Fish can be taken on live minnows and or minijigs near structure in 15 to 20-feet of water. The bass fishing has been excellent, and the reaction bite continues for another week. Hundreds of bass under a pound have been coming on small crankbaits and shad imitation swimbaits. The catfish bite remains very good in many areas around the lake and can be taken with Triple S Dip Bait, nightcrawlers and clams. The trout bite has slowed a bit from the past couple months but continue to show along the North Fork. Anglers have been fooling trout with floating baits, spinners, trout jigs and spoons.
