for Friday, September 29th, 2023California Aqueduct: The aqueduct has been kicking out good numbers of fish for several months
Castaic Lake: The lake remained at 93 percent of capacity, and water temperatures have been dropping slowly
Pyramid Lake, CA: Pyramid Lake held near 90 percent of capacity, and water temperatures have been in the low to mid-seventies
Lake Isabella: The bass bite improved here this week
Kern River: Here in the Upper Kern the trout fishing has been very good
Lake Kaweah: The lake fell dramatically to 20 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair
Lake Success: Success Lake fell slightly to 66 percent of capacity and fishing has been hit or miss
River Walk Lakes: Not much has changed here at River Walk
Ming Lake: The bass action keeps improving with the decent weather
Buena Vista Lakes: Anglers reported decent fishing at BV

for Friday, September 22nd, 2023California Aqueduct: Some topwater bass were also reported in the slower moving water
Castaic Lake: Most anglers have been chasing striped bass at first light
Pyramid Lake, CA: The lake held near 90 percent of capacity, and water temperatures have been falling
Lake Isabella: The Bass fishing has been in their summer pattern for some time
Kern River: In the Upper Kern, anglers have been reporting larger than normal trout coming out
Lake Kaweah: Kaweah has been falling rapidly, and it’s currently sitting at 35 percent of capacity
Lake Success: The lake fell to 67 percent of capacity and fishing has been fair to decent
River Walk Lakes: At Riverwalk the fishing has improved since the drought
Ming Lake: The bass action improved this week with the cooler weather
Buena Vista Lakes: Fishing has been good for all species at Buena Vista Lakes with catfish and panfish as the best bets
Hart Park Lake: Hart Park has provided consistent and decent fishing over the last month
Lake Nacimiento: The lake fell to 64 percent of capacity, and anglers reported good fishing
