Water levels remained at 28 percent of capacity, and surface temperatures have been approaching 60 degrees in the afternoons. Anglers reported good fishing with bass biting finesse baits in 5 to 20 feet of water. Ned rigs, darter heads, and drop shot have been producing well for spotted bass. White bass went for trolled spoons and in-line spinners. After locating biting schools on the troll anglers used topwater, small swimbaits, and spoons for good results. Crappie fishing picked up last week with anglers doing well with minijigs and small live minnows. Catfish anglers used dip bait, chicken liver, and cut mackerel to fool whisker fish in deeper coves.
