Kaweah Lake rose to 26 percent of capacity, and bass continued their move into the shallows. Anglers reported an improved bite with better numbers, and a few larger females were reported by anglers fishing jigs. Most of the action was on finesse baits in 10 to 20 feet of, but anglers have been fooling a few up shallow with Senkos as well. Catfish went for dip bait, cut mackerel, and chicken liver, and crappie fell for minijigs and small swimbaits.
