The lake rose to 23 percent of capacity, and bass fishing was fair last week. Bass went for drop shot, shaky heads, and creature baits in 10 to 40 feet of water. Some anglers reported deeper bass biting spoons. Trout anglers used dough baits, nightcrawlers, and Mousetails to land a few holdover trout, and catfish ate cut baits, nightcrawlers, and chicken liver. Some crappie were reported near the marina.
