The water level rose to 20 percent of capacity, and there have been reports of bass showing in shallow water. However, most of the action remained in deeper water on finesse baits. Drop shot, shaky heads, and jigs have been the best techniques to score a few bites. Catfish anglers used dip bait, cut sardines, and nightcrawlers to fool fish, and trout anglers reported fair fishing while using dough baits.
