Success Lake rose to 22 percent of capacity, and bass anglers continue to report improving fishing. Some of the bass have begun to move up for the spawn and anglers targeted them with drop shot, Senkos, and jigs. Trout anglers picked away at the remaining fish, from the plant two weeks ago, using dough baits, minijigs, Mousetails, and Kastmasters. Catfish anglers used cut baits, nightcrawlers, and chicken liver to fool whisker fish, and there were reports of biting crappie near the marina.
