HAppy New Year Steelhead fishermen, Well so far the fishing on the Smith has been tough for the Steelies. It is one here and maybe one there. Don't believe the gauges! Sat we left and the river was 17.5 at the 101 bridge and at the Forks the water was running over the gravel bar. It was actually closer to 19+. The river was giant. The plumkers are catching a few but it is not red hot yet. .Next Report, 1/3 It is time to make your fishing plans.

Hello Steelie Fans, Well the fishing here on the Smith has been fair. I have been getting 1 to 2 fish a day and hooking as many as 5. It is not that great, but there has not been anybody here. Hey Steelheaders and the friends of no crowds, Wel the fishing on the Smith has not been red hot, but we have been getting a couple Steelhead everyday, having a chance at a couple more and the best thing is no one is here.
