Trout Fishing : Fishing for trout is best inside of Graveyard cove in Scow Canyon. Fish power-bait or night crawlers off the bottom. Trolling has been slow lately.

Catfishing : Fishing for catfish is the best by the boat launch. There is a lot of catfish that seem to be hungry. Many catfish are being caught by trout fishermen. To increase chance of catching a catfish use stinky bait like chicken livers or anchovies.

Bass Fishing : The bite is still on for the bass fishermen. Top spots are the Rock wall, Sather Canyon and near the Main Rec. Throw shad colored spinner baits or drop shot robo worms.

Fish Plant: 1200 lbs of Mt. Lassen Rainbow Trout was planted at the launchon Wednesday 04-01-2015

Trout Fishing The water temperature is dropping which is a good sign for trout. We have been planting all summer long so there are plenty of fish out there. Try trolling deep, 40 to 50 feet using jointed Rapalas or Kastmasters.
