Trout Fishing
Fishing for trout is the best inside of Graveyard cove in Scow Canyon. Fish powerbait or night crawlers off the bottom. People trolling have been catching larger sized trout by the dam area. Troll using rapalas without any weight added.
Catfishing
Fishing for catfish is best by boat launch. There is a lot of catfish that seem to be hungry. Many catfish are being caught by trout fishermen. To increase the chance of catching a catfish use stinky bait like chicken livers or anchovies.
Bass Fishing
The bite is still on for the bass fishermen. Top spots are the Rock wall, Sather Canyon and near the Main Rec Pier. Throw shad colored spinner baits or drop shot robo worms.

Lake Level: 293
Surface Temp: 64F
Fish plant: Mt/ Massen Trout 1200 lbs on 3/10/2015
Department of Fish and Wildlife, the week of March 8th planted a total of 2400 lbs.
Fish Tales
Farid Ahmadi of El Sobrabte caught 1 Bass in Scow Canyon using a shad lure on 3-10-15 weighing 6.58 lbs.
James Stocker of San Rafael caught 5 trout largest weighing 2.03 lbs on 3-10-15 trolling
Nick Castagnolo and friend of Santa Clara caught 5 trout largest weight of the stringer was 10.3 using power bait at Farrell's landing.
Parker from Pleasant Hill caught a 9 1/2 lb trout at the launch using a lure on 3-13-15
Tyler Cody and Hunter Talbot from Pinole caught a total of 15 trout fishing at the main rec on 3-14-15 using a Mice Tails weight of the stringer was 12.5 the largest was 2.0 lbs.
Water Temperature: 63 Degrees
Bass: Good
Catfish: Good
Crappie: Good
