Catfish reigned the picture board this week again! Fred Marania of Dixon & Bill Bernhard of Davis teamed up and successfully took a huge stringer of Catfish home. They caught 5 total and their biggest weighed 10 pounds. They were fishing in 30 feet of water in the middle of the lake at night using Anchovies. Young Cameron lucked into a 7 lb. 8 oz. Catfish taken from Elmer's Cove too....Coren Morris captureda 6 lb. 2 oz. Catfish off the rock point using Nightcrawlers. Just this morning Judy Garner of San Ramon brought up a 7 lb. 14 oz. Catfish she caught on good ol stinkbait!!!

In the fall, as the night time temperatures drop back down the thread thin shad will hatch and the trout bite will increase drastically. This happens usually in late October but I will keep you posted on this website as it occurs.
