FISHING NEWS
Another awesome week for trout anglers out here at Lake Camanche! Popular spots this week included the South Shore Trout Pond, North Shore Day Use Area, and of course upriver spots in the Narrows! Most anglers we talked to this week agreed that powerbaits and power eggs are the top baits for trout right now. White power eggs helped one woman bring in a 9.41 trout on the trout pond this week, but other than that most people aren't finding that any one color is doing the trick. Lures are also popular baits right now. Especially Rapala Lures. We sell all of these baits in our Marina Stores so come out to Lake Camanche and get your fish on!
