The fishing has been excellent at San Pablo Reservoir

Lake Hours: 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Boats must be off the Water: 5:00 PM
Boat Launch Area is Open: 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available
Last Plant: 1,080 lbs. of catchable trout and 120 lbs. of Trophy Trout from Mt. Lassen on March 5th
Water Temperature: Around 54 degrees
The trout bite is excellent and they were caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area and across the other side at Sandy Point and Scow Canyonand and also the shoreline at the Boat Launch area as well. The best bait to use for the Trout has been PowerBait in either Chartreuse or Spring Green have been working well as have Mice Tails, inflated nightcrawlers. Broken-Back Fire-Tigers and Kastmasters have been the best for those who like to troll.
