San Pablo Reservoir Fish Report for 3-19-2013
The trout bite at San Pablo Reservoir has been excellent for several weeks now

Lake Hours: 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Boats must be off the Water: 5:00 PM
Boat Launch Area is Open: 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available
Last Plant: 1,080 lbs. of catchable trout and 120 lbs. of Trophy Trout from Mt. Lassen on March 12th. The Department of Fish & Game planted 2,000 lbs. of trout on March 12th, 2013.
Water Temperature: Around 56 degrees
The trout bite is excellent and they are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area and across the other side at Sandy Point, Scow Canyon and finally from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area. PowerBait has been working the best with Chartreuse and Spring Green being the go-to colors. Other bait and lures that have worked include Mice Tails and inflated nightcrawlers, Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and Kastmasters with the later being preferred for trolling.
