The lake turned over this weekend! Fish should now be found in the top 15+/- feet of water whether fishing from the bank or by boat. Power baits in rainbow and chartreuse are most commonly used as well as choice lures and night crawlers. Planter fish tend to stay near the shorelines while holdover fish (from last year) are in the main part of the lake.
Sandra Felkins of Sacramento caught a nice stringer totaling 12.6 lbs with the largest fish weighing in at 5.31 lbs while using power bait.
Jay Meeks of Valley Springs caught a 9.68 lbs whopper trout using a grub.
