TROUT/BASS REPORT: Warmer temperatures are finally here and have halted fish plants for the remainder of the season. Temperatures are also driving trout down deeper but we still have some good catches to report all the same. Robbie Dunham of Galt managed to get a nice stringer with a total weight of 14.2 lbs while trolling by the dam using excel lures. Nadine Nakano also caught a giant 13.67lb trout out of the South shore pond fishing with power bait and night crawlers!
For Bass we had Manny of Ione catch a 6.31lb bass while fishing from the North shore day use area while using a lure.
Got a good story about "the one that got away" or an awesome fish recipe that you'd like to share?
