Marina hours are 7 am to 5 pm with the park hours 7 am to 6 pm. Our latest trout plant was this last Tuesday 01/11/11 of 950 lbs. from Desert Springs Rainbow Trout farm in Oregon and what pink lined beauties these are. Our anglers have been using a wide range of bait from Power bait Eggs in White, Rainbow, Pink and Green along with Berkley Gulp Floating Worms in fluorescent colors, Power bait Yellowcorn, Spring Green, Rainbow and Sherbet. Silver Kastmasters, Silver / Blue Kastmasters, Silver / Green Kastmasters and Gold Kastmasters have been very popular along with Gold Rupalas, Silver Rapalas, Rainbow Trout Rapalas, and Bleeding Cooper Flash Rapalas which have been used to help our anglers pull in their limits. Jensen Silver Spoons, Panther Martins and Berkley Power bait Trout Attractant and Trout Dip in Corn, Garlic and of course Night crawlers. A few nice size (2 lbs.) Crappie have been caught in open water trolling in the Narrows also. If you plan on boating, early is best. As a reminder, we have a half off special on all boats on an all day boat rental every Wednesday.

David Jackson of San Leandro caught 7 Trouts with the largest weighing 2 lbs. 8 oz. using Corn Yellow Power bait and Bubblegum Pink Power bait at the Dam and in the Upper Narrows on 01/13/2011. Scott Falcon of Peoria, Arizona caught 7 Trouts with the largest weighing 2 lbs. 8 oz. using Corn Yellow Power bait and Bubblegum Pink Power bait at the Dam and in the Upper Narrows on 01/13/2011. Jeff Allen of Santa Cruz caught 5 Trouts. The stringer weighed 27 lbs. with the largest weighing 5 lbs. 8 oz. on 01/13/11. Kenny Khu of Livermore caught 5 Trouts.
