Kaweah Lake dropped to 31 percent of its storage capacity, and anglers took advantage of spring like weather for some nice spotted and largemouth bass fishing. The spring bite has not sprung, but there was an uptick in reports. Anglers did well with the usual finesse baits in 5 to 30 feet of water. Senkos and jerkbaits took fish up cruising the warming shorelines. Catfish went after cut sardines, nightcrawlers, and dip bait.
