Pyramid Lake held around 85 percent of its storage capacity, and water temperatures were near 50 degrees. Bass anglers reported an improved bite with warmer days getting fish moving. Most of the fish remained deep, but looser lips allowed anglers to score some solid bags in 15 to 30 feet of water. Brown jigs with a craw trailer, Ned rigs, and drop shot all pulled in fish. Some crankbait bass were in the mix as well. Striped bass were best for anglers trolling umbrella rigs. Shore anglers reported line sides on cut baits. Catfish were reliable for anglers using cut baits and dip bait.
