The lake rose to 12 percent of capacity, and anglers reported fair fishing. Bass anglers found biting fish in 20 to 40 feet of water on main lake points and submerged rock piles. Drop shot, jigs, and Ned rigs worked with a slow to dead stick approach. Dark green, brown, and baitfish colors worked for bites. A few anglers reported catching bass up shallow while throwing Senko style baits. Catfish anglers used cut baits, chicken liver, and dip bait near the marina, and crappie anglers did well with small live minnows and minijigs in 20 to 40 feet of water.
