Fishing has improved at Success Lake with bass and crappie taking baits at a decent clip. Largemouth anglers targeted bass with cranks, poppers, and walking baits as the sun came up. After that bass have been falling for smaller finesse baits in various colors. Under spins slow rolled along the bottom fooled a few better grad bass. Crappie and bluegill ate live worms, small live minnows and crappie jigs near the marina and over submerged brush. Catfish anglers used chicken liver and dip bait at night to fool whisker fish.
