Kaweah Lake fell to 84 percent of capacity, and fishing has been good. Anglers reported spotted bass taking drop shot in Margarita Mutilator and Ehrler’s Edge. Senkos in Green Pumpkin, Watermelon, and Cinnamon Purple also fooled fish. Bass took walking baits and buzz baits early in the day, and bigger bass fell for jigs on main lake points and ledges. Catfish anglers fooled whisker fish with nightcrawlers, chicken liver, and dip bait, and crappie came on small live minnows and crappie jigs.
