Nacimiento Lake held at 13 percent of capacity, and fishing has been good. Bass anglers have been working finesse plastics in 5 to 20 feet of water early in the day for bites, and topwater has also been effective for some early morning action. Anglers reported white bass boiling sporadically throughout the lake. Lure chucker’s hooked up with the white bass using Kastmasters, topwater, or in-line spinners. A few fish were also reported by anglers trolling white spoons. Catfish have been eating cut anchovies, dip bait, and chicken liver.
