Rainbow trout action is very good! Were averaging limits of quality fish 2 to 3 pounds on every trip. However, Becky Cooper of Elk Grove had an exceptional day landing her limit of bows in the 3 to 5 1/2 pound class. Were also seeing Kokanee 16 1/2 to 17 inch range. Both trout and Kokanee are holding on the deeper waters around Little Hat and Big Hat 25 to 50 feet deep. Vance\'s Slim Fins Copper Red Head, German Brown, and Ex-Cel blue silver and Rainbow Trout colors has been working well. Also Pro Cure Trophy Trout Gel has helped make our days very successful! Camanche is now 75% full and a surface temperature of 74 degrees. The lake is still rising and the added cooler water is making excellent fishing conditions.
