Warming temps. got the top water bite going early, and late, and bass to 9.5 were caught on buzzbaits, wakebaits, and sgooks. Crappie also turned on at Mackey point for shore anglers using mini jigs under a bobber. Catfish still coming in as well in the White Oak area, with cut mackerel being the bait of choice

Water Temperature: 74 Degrees

Bass: Fair
Catfish: Fair
Crappie : Good

We have some blue gill spotted over at the tire reef. Anlers are having luck on crickets and mealworms. Bass are still around launch Ram cove and Sail cove. Warming water temps have the lakes game fish active once more, as all species went on the chew last week. Reactions baits were taking bass to 6 lbs. all over the lake. No top water action as of yet, but should develop with some stable temps. Crappie action has been fair on jigs, and tubes tipped with a meal worm.
