My wife says my fishing reports are not good for business and she wants to go shopping so now I am a self acclaimed TOP GUIDE and as such here is my report. Only the top guides such as myself are putting 2 to 4 fish in the boat per day in this stretch of the river. The fish are very large and bright chrome. Hell, just the other day we caught a 55 lber. I still have a few open dates for the year, so if you call soon you may get lucky and get one. Have you read generic reports like this from the self acclaimed TOP BULLSHITTERS, I mean TOP GUIDES? Do you believe this crap and cant wait to book a trip. I think some people do, that dont know any better. Im sorry honney, I just cant do it. Now here is what really happened my last trip out which was Saturday. I fished with a father son and we had a great time. We fished near capay area and saw only about 4 other boats. No boats came down from Woodson so all the TOP GUIDES must have went to where ever TOP GUIDES go this time of year, Probablly the barge hole. Hey if you fish with them up there dont set the hook too hard you might rip the skin right off the fish and you wont get to eat the mush. Thats my tip for the day. We saw a pair of foxes come down to the water, one with a sliver tail, pretty cool. We fished from dawn to about 4 pm and had a big one on for several minutes when it through the hook, man that hurts when fishing is this tough. I called my father and son party for Sunday to give them a report and they opted to postpone until November so I sat on my lazy ass and watched football all day. Wished I would of went fishing now, had a much better time Saturday on the river. I have heard honest reports of some decent action on fresh fish the middle of last week and we should continue to get intermittent spurts of fish moving through. I am hopping November and December will see some action after some good rains. Hey last week I pissed off the jig fisherman, I thought it only fair I piss off the TOP GUIDES this week, sorry guys.
